Enter trampoline scores
Trampoline events in Judges Companion use a different set of score fields from artistic gymnastics. This page covers what you will see on screen, how to enter each field, and how multi-routine events (R1/R2 and synchro) work.
Before you start
Make sure you have configured your judge roles for the session. In a trampoline session the available roles are D1, E1-E6, H1, H2, and VR. The default selection is D1, E1, and H1. Only the fields for your selected roles appear on the entry screen.
The Score Format and Entry Mode toggles you may have seen in artistic sessions are not shown for trampoline. Trampoline always uses the deductions method, so there is nothing to configure there.

Score fields
The fields on a trampoline score entry screen depend on which roles you hold and which apparatus the session is for.
D (Difficulty)
The total difficulty value for the routine. Entered by the D1 judge. Shown as "SV" if the session uses Start Value format, but the field works the same way.
ToF (Time of Flight)
The total airborne time for the routine, in seconds. Entered by the D1 judge. This field appears for individual trampoline (TRI) only. It does not appear for Double Mini or synchro.
Sync (Synchronization)
A deduction for how far out of sync the two athletes were during a synchro routine. Entered by the D1 judge. This field appears for synchro only.
H1 / H2 (Horizontal Displacement)
Deductions for how far the athlete travelled horizontally from the center of the trampoline during the routine. H1 and H2 are entered by separate judges. These fields appear for individual trampoline and synchro only. They do not appear for Double Mini.
E1-E6 (Execution)
Execution deductions, one field per active execution judge. Each E judge enters only their own field. When multiple E judges submit, the system applies the FIG median rule to form the final execution score.
Pen (Penalty)
Any penalties applied to the routine. Entered by the D1 judge. Defaults to 0. This field always appears when D1 is selected.
FSB (Final Score Bonus)
A bonus added after all other components are calculated. Entered by the D1 judge. Defaults to 0. This field always appears when D1 is selected.
How the final score is formed
The score confirmation screen shows the breakdown:
Final score = D + Execution + ToF + HD + Sync + FSB - Pen
Not all terms appear in every event. Individual trampoline has D, Execution, ToF, HD, and Pen. Double Mini has D, Execution, and Pen. Synchro has D, Execution, Sync, HD, and Pen.
Execution is derived from the E judges using the FIG median rule: for an even number of E judges it sums the two middle deductions, for an odd number it takes the middle value. The result is subtracted from the starting execution value of 20.0.
HD (when applicable) is the average of H1 and H2, subtracted from a starting value of 10.0.
The confirmation screen highlights which E and H judge values are counted so you can verify the calculation before submitting.
Multi-routine entry (R1/R2)
For competitions where each gymnast performs two routines, the gymnast tile shows a separate action row for each routine, labeled "Routine 1" and "Routine 2". This works the same way vault does with first and second vault rows.
Tap the action row for Routine 1 to open the score entry screen for that routine. Enter all your fields and tap Submit. Then return to the gymnast list, tap the Routine 2 row, and repeat.
Each routine is scored and submitted independently. The score status shown on the tile reflects both routines: a gymnast appears Submitted only when all routines have been submitted.
For synchro, the pair appears as a single tile with separate routine rows for each required routine.
Submitting
After entering your fields, tap Review score to go to the confirmation screen. Review the breakdown and tap Finalize Score to complete the submission.
For the D1 judge, the app requires that at least one E judge has submitted a non-zero execution deduction before you can finalize. For TRI and synchro, at least one H judge must also have submitted. The confirmation screen shows a warning if required values are missing.
