Session gymnast list
View and manage gymnasts in a session, add competitions to sessions, and track gymnast assignment status.
This is where you see every gymnast in a session, check who has been assigned to a squad, and manage which competitions are included. If a gymnast is missing or in the wrong session, this is where you fix it.
Prerequisites
Create a session with at least one competition assigned
Accessing the gymnast list
Go to your meet dashboard and click Sessions in the sidebar.
Open a session by clicking its dashboard button.
Click the Gymnast List tab.
The overview at the top
At the top of the page, you will see key numbers for the session:
Total gymnasts -- everyone included in the session
Assigned gymnasts -- those placed in a squad starting position
Unassigned gymnasts -- in the session but not yet assigned to a squad
Competition levels, clubs, and age groups represented
These numbers update as you add competitions or move gymnasts around.
Managing competitions in the session
Below the overview, you will see a horizontal list of competitions currently in the session. Each card shows the competition name, level, age group, and subdivision number.
To add more competitions:
Click the Add button in the competitions section.
Browse the available competitions that are not yet in this session.
Use search or filters to find what you need.
Select the competitions you want and click Add.
The gymnast list refreshes with the newly included gymnasts.
Each competition card shows the gymnast count, level, age group, and club distribution so you can tell at a glance what you are adding.
The gymnast table
Below the competitions section is a table with every gymnast in the session:
Status icon -- shows whether the gymnast is assigned or unassigned
Name -- full name
Date of birth -- for age verification
Club -- their club or team
Level -- competition level
Actions -- edit the gymnast's profile or view their scores
Assignment status updates automatically as gymnasts are placed into squads or removed from them.
How gymnasts move through the session
Here is the typical flow:
A gymnast is added to the session when you include their competition.
They start as unassigned -- present in the session but without a squad placement.
You assign them to a squad (either manually or through auto-assignment).
They become assigned and are ready to compete.
To assign unassigned gymnasts, head to the Squad List page. You can get there from the sidebar or by clicking Squads & Rotations in the overview widget.
Troubleshooting
Unassigned gymnasts not showing up? Make sure the right competitions have been added to the session and that the gymnasts are registered for the meet.
Assignment status not updating? Refresh the page. If it still looks wrong, check that the squad assignments were saved.
A competition is not appearing in the add dialog? Confirm that the competition exists in your meet configuration and has not already been added to this session.
