🙋Participants

Learn about who the different participants you can add to your meet are and about their roles.

Overview

Participants are the specific people who will be participating in your meet. They consist of different roles and therefore have different jobs and responsibilities.

Roles

The different roles you can create are the following

  • Athletes

  • Coaches

  • Judges

Uploading & placeholders

We offer templates for each participant role to streamline the process of uploading all the required data at once. In cases where we lack specific participant details, we provide the option to input placeholder values that can be updated dynamically at a later time. This update process remains the same for all participant roles, as each participant has a unique identifier that enables their information to be updated once it becomes available.

One way to prepare for a meet is to create a list of pseudo athletes, with approximately 30 entries, based on your expectations. You need to also specify their categories and teams. Once you receive the athlete details, such as their names and dates of birth, you can upload a CSV file with the updated data using the same unique identifier. This will dynamically update all competitions and rotations associated with the athletes, saving you time and effort.
