An organization (org) in Gym Art Meets is a group of users that create and manage meets together. With an org, one can create a meet and allow others from the same org to collaborate and modify details in one place.
Organizations (org) can be gymnastics clubs, federations, or entities that handle the creation, organization (hence the name), and management of meets. All meets are created under an org, and therefore one must create or join one in order to start using the many tools of Gym Art Meets.
An org has the ability to create meets for both Women's Artistic (WAG), and Men's Artistic (MAG) gymnastics
Orgs are made up of two types of users: the creator and they other admins. Any user who is part of the org can then access the same meets of the organization and modify the parts that they've been assigned to track.
If you are the first person from your organization to use Gym Art Meets or if you're working alone, you'll have to create an organization yourself. Don't worry, it's super simple! We've created a guide just for this so that you can get on your way to creating the best meets possible.
If one of your team members has already created an organization, they provide access to you using an access code. Upon joining the org, you'll be added as an admin and will be granted access to all meets created under the respective organization. Included in the creating an organization guide is also a guide on how to join one.
Since meets are inherently collaborative, the purchasing is handled by the organization instead of an individual. What this means is that an admin will puchase meets on behalf of the org so that all other users in the org can access them.
Each organization has one free meet that they can create with Gym Art Meets. After that, the org can either purchase one meet a time, or they can pay for a subscription which allows for unlimited creation of meets, as well as a discount on the athlete price for live scoring.
Our payment strucutre consists of paying for the scheduling tools, a flat rate for enabling live scoring, and a per-athlete fee for when scores are entered. Each of these fees can vary depending on your choice of product package. You can learn more about pricing from our pricing page.
We can consider the Fédération International de Gymnastique (FIG) as an organization that will be organizing the World Championships, World cups, and challenge cups. Of course, the FIG is made up of many different people, but only a few of them will be organizing meets.
The creator may be the director of operations
The admins are anyone who will need to be able to modify the different aspects of any of the meets the FIG is hosting
The FIG will also have to make multiple meets for both Women Artistic and Men's Artistic gymnastics
The different admins in the meet will work together to compile the different categories (Senior, Junior and more), and many teams (in this case countries) of athletes that will be competing.
