👀Navigation and Getting to Know the App
Learn all there is to find in GAM and how to navigate the application.
First Login: My Meets
Upon first login, users are directed to the My Meets page.
To create a new meet:
Click the New Meet button.
My Organizations
Located in the bottom-left navigation menu.
Organizations allow users to:
Create a group or club for organizing meets.
Add members and manage shared access to meets.
Meet Dashboard
Clicking a meet opens the Meet Dashboard.
Features:
Home Widget:
Provides three primary setup steps:
Import Athletes.
Add Age Groups.
Add Sessions.
Quick navigation tools and meet statistics.
Athlete Management
Gymnasts:
View and manage all uploaded athletes.
Actions include uploading, editing, exporting, and deleting gymnast details.
Levels and Age Groups:
Automatically group athletes into age categories based on defined levels.
Clubs:
View and manage all gymnastics clubs in the meet.
Merge duplicate teams (e.g., fix typos).
Search for teams and athletes.
Competition Management
Results:
From the Meet Dashboard, click on a competition to access the Results Page.
The Results Page includes three sections:
Subdivisions:
View athlete scores and group large age groups into mutliple subdivisions to place them in multiple sessions
Team Scores:
View team results for this level & age group.
Competition Settings:
Configure visibility options:
Toggle visibility for videos, ranks, team scores, and the competition.
Configure individual scoring rules:
Set tie-breaking and bump rules for individuals.
Set rank bumping for individuals
Configure team scoring rules:
Adjust the number of athletes contributing to the final score.
Set tie-breaking and bump rules for teams.
Set rank bumping for teams
Sessions & Rotations:
From the Meet Dashboard, click on the Session Schedule Page.
The Session Schedule Page lists all sessions in the meet.
Clicking on a session tile opens the Session Dashboard, which contains three sections:
Squads and Rotations:
Add competitions and subdivisions to sessions.
Organize athletes into squads and sub-flights.
Auto-generate rotations with built-in tools.
Judging Tables:
Configure judging setups:
Define the number of judges per table.
Include execution judges or video recorders if needed.
Timeline and Settings:
View the informational timeline for session events:
Includes awards, warm-ups, and other scheduled activities.
Provides visibility for spectators and participants.
Event Management
The Event Management section in the Meet Dashboard provides the following five pages:
Printout Sheets:
Generate PDFs for session results:
Full session results with all levels and age groups.
Starting positions.
Team ranks and scores for all age groups.
All-ages results for all levels in a session.
Level-specific results (e.g., Level 3, Ages 10-11).
Customize which results to include in the printout.
Projector & QR Codes:
Display live scores on a projector or TV.
Generate QR codes for:
Wi-Fi access with the password.
Judges to sign into sessions.
Spectators to download and access the app and the meet.
Meet Progress Tracker:
Monitor real-time meet status:
Track which squads have competed on specific events and sessions.
View athletes’ squad assignments, scores, and statuses.
Check completion status of events and squads instantly.
Local Server:
(Desktop version only) Run the meet locally without requiring an internet connection.
Ticket Management:
Manage ticketing for spectators:
Enable in-app ticket purchases.
Configure ticketing options for the meet.
Meet Settings
The Meet Settings area includes two pages:
Meet Information:
Manage general meet details:
Name, date range, and description.
Meet password and video password.
Social links: Add a website, livestream, Instagram, TikTok, or additional links.
Upload a cover photo and profile photo.
Additional options:
Delete the entire meet.
Set the meet as private or public.
Judging Resources & Video Protection:
Judging mode:
Switch between Simple Judging Mode (start value and deductions only) and FIG Judging Mode (full FIG score entry).
Password management:
View and manage the meet password and session passwords.
QR codes:
Generate QR codes for judges to sign into sessions.
