The Create Meet dialog is a step-by-step wizard that lets you set up a new meet with initial details. You can launch it from My Meets, the sidebar, or the Home Dashboard. All settings can be edited later in the meet dashboard.

What it covers

The dialog guides you through 7 main areas:

  1. General Details - Basic meet info (name, dates, location, disciplines, description)

  2. Visibility & Access - Public/private settings and video recording controls

  3. Contact Info - Organizer, event manager, and federation contact details

  4. Social - Cover images, profile images, and social media links

  5. Documents - Upload files shared with registrants

  6. Registration Settings - Open/close registration, deadlines, pricing, waitlists, late fees, refunds, and coach/gymnast levels

  7. Levels - Define gymnast levels (required for organization and scoring)

How it works

  • Each step collects essential information to get your meet started

  • Some sections only appear when relevant toggles are enabled (e.g., late fees only show if late registration is allowed)

  • The dialog prevents advancing if there are validation issues (like duplicate level names)

  • You can always modify any setting after creation in the meet dashboard
